The proposal: Reduce MGU-K power to cut lift-and-coast driving
Alongside their regular test programmes, some teams spent the final Bahrain test day trialling proposals suggested by the FIA. The most notable idea under consideration is reducing MGU-K power output to reduce the amount of lift-and-coast driving that has been criticised by fans and drivers.
